And it's done! VisMoot 2017: Results

After six months of (a lot of) hard work, we bring great news! Team UERJ Vis Moot accomplished excellent results at XXIV Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the pre-moots:

1^st Place: V Rio Pre-Moot (Brasil);

1^st Place: DLA Piper Paris Vis Pre-Moot (France);

1^st Place: August Debouzy Pre-Moot (France);

9^th Place: ICC Vis Pre-Moot (France)

Best Speaker – Maria Vittoria Regini: August Debouzy Pre-Moot (France);

Best Speaker – Maria Vittoria Regini: CAM-CCBC Hanseatic Pre-Moot (German); e

Werner Melis Award Best Memorandum for Respondent (Honorable Mention): 24th VisMoot (Austria).

It is important to highlight that this last award is only granted to very few of the 343 participating teams, and Team UERJ was the only Latin-American to win it.

This was a result of the hard work of the students Bruna Goldenstein; Bruna Lyrio; Julia Figueiredo; Lícia Mello; Lucas Amaral; Maria Vittoria Regini; Mariana Rezende and Marvio Bonelli. 

Moreover, this would not be possible without the dedication of the coaches Bernard Potsch, Daniel Gruenbaum, Isabel Miranda and Stela Hühne Porto.
